A loan helped to buy raw fabric materials and other necessary items for her clothing alterations activity.

Kristina's story

Kristina is an Egyptian Albanian who lives in a main city in south eastern Albania. Her children are grown ups, the youngest one is 21 years old.

For the past five years, Kristina has been running an alterations and clothing repair activity from her own home, serving mostly residents in her neighborhood.

Here it is what Krisitina said to the loan officer during the interview: “I am 52 now and sometime back I decided to do something to earn an income and the only thing I knew how to do well, was stitching. I would loose nothing, because I would run it from home, so, I gave it a try. And I am glad I did. I have been able to earn a bit of money since then, with some days more and some days less.”

Kristina now wants to buy some raw materials for her activity and this loan will be her second one.
