A loan of $5,250 helped to buy cages, accessories, animal toys, concentrated feed, and medicines and to print advertising leaflets for her pet store.

Daniela's story

Daniela is a young woman who is 21 years of age. She is in her fifth semester of veterinary studies. Daniela has a passion for this line of work and for animals. Since the age of 17, she has worked as a volunteer on different campaigns that advocate pet neutering and vaccinations. In addition, she has worked for several veterinarians. This young dreamer saw a business opportunity and wanted to take action. Daniela wants to open her own pet store, which is why she is requesting her first loan. She will invest in furnishing her shop with fixed assets (cages) and merchandise in bulk (accessories, pet toys, concentrated feed, and medicines). Daniela will also have advertising leaflets printed.

Through this course of action, she hopes to generate the necessary income to support her household and continue funding her studies. Daniela dreams of positioning her business so that it becomes well-known and profitable over time. This will enable her to continue being in direct contact with animals, which is her passion, and to improve the living conditions and well-being of her family.
