Esther Galud's story

Esther has been in the Siempre Amigas communal bank for three years. In all of this time, thanks to the loans, she has managed her business. She has also managed to establish a better friendship with all of her neighbors and friends. She lives on the outskirts of the Valle parish in Cuenca. The place is surrounded by green fields and a natural beauty. Its people devote themselves to raising animals and farming. Many of them work in the city. They are kind and gentle people who still maintain the culture and traditions instilled in them by their parents.

Esther is a 49 year old widow. However, they did have four children. Three of them are married and live independently. Her last child is 15, and he attends school in the city. She lives in her own house.

Esther makes clothing, which she learned by her skill. She has been in the business for 14 years. She also raises guinea pigs and farms.

She will use this loan to buy fabric, thread, and feed for the animals.

Her goal is to have a large clothes making shop.
