A loan of $375 helped to buy cosmetics.

Erika's story

Erika, 51, is a friendly and enterprising woman. She's divorced and has three children but lives in her own house with only one of them.

Erika makes a living selling beauty products, cosmetics, and a variety of perfume. She sells her distinguished customers well-known brands of fine fragrances, especially for women. She has a big display case where she shows all her products for sale every day. She also sells useful accessories such as belts, hairpins, necklaces, pendants, earrings, and women's and men's footwear.

She has done this job for five years, offering cordial service with a broad smile with each sale. She works alone because she's comfortable that way. This allows her to distribute her earnings with great prudence. She hopes to continue working because she thinks her job makes women happy.

Currently she'll request 1,000 soles [PEN]. She's grateful to all the people who make it possible for her to get the loan she needs to achieve her work goals.

With the requested amount she'll buy more cosmetics such as body lotion, face cream, powder, and perfume so she can continue working.
