A loan of $800 helped a member to purchase a variety of ladies and gents clothing.

Shaheen's Group's story

Shaheen lives in Lahore, Pakistan. She is a group member of a three-person lending group. She has asked for a Kiva loan from Kiva's field partner BRAC Pakistan for her husband's shop. He has been running a clothing shop. He purchases a variety of ladies and gents clothing from the factory and sells it in the main market. He is getting a good profit with this business. However, currently, he doesn't have enough savings to purchase more dresses to sell. Therefore, he would use the Kiva loan to purchase a variety of ladies and gents clothing. This will help him to continue his business. Shaheen hopes that the loan amount would be helpful for her husband. She is thankful to all Kiva lenders.

Shaheen raises her hand in the picture.
