Minara's story

Minara is 29 years old, married, and is raising one daughter. Minara has a higher education. Since 2010 to the present day, she has been a worker in the post office. Her husband works in the military police. Her work colleagues describe her as: a punctual, discerning, and responsible person.

As an additional source of income for her family, Minara has been involved since 2005 in raising livestock, starting this business with 5,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her persistent character and hard work, Minara has on her farm: six dairy cows and 15 sheep. Her farm brings in about 6,000 som (KGS) per month. Income from farming allowed Minara to further increase the number of livestock on her farm.

Toward the goal of further developing her farm, Minara turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to purchase calves.

Minara plans to invest income from the loan to further expand her farm, and in this way in the future intends to buy a family vehicle.
