For the past 12 years, she has operated a cashew nut selling business, selling retail to local neighbors. She faces a major challenge of high cost of transportation in the business.
With the Kshs 10,000 she wants to purchase one sack of cashew nuts for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
