Sakina's story

Sakina, age 53, has had a business selling milk for a period of about four years. Over that time, she has become famous in her area for providing good quality milk. She counts on a good client list and makes enough to contribute to her family's income. Sakina's husband is employed in a mill but his income is not sufficient to meet the needs of the family. She is requesting a loan of PKR 30,000 through Kashf Foundation to purchase another cow. In this way she will be able to increase her sales. She expects a boost in her earnings with her loan and plans to spend her profits on expanding her business.
