Shazia's story

Shazia, 26, is a married woman. She is running a business of milk sales with the support of her husband. She has three cows and sells their milk to many of her neighbors, along with butter and cheese that they make from the milk. She looks after the cows and performs the task of collecting milk from them while her husband sells it to different places on a daily basis. She makes a good amount of income to contribute in the family income. She is a mother of five children; two of them are school-going. She needs to earn much more to meet their everyday expenditures including food, clothing and education. In order to make huge profits, she requested for a loan of Rs 50,000 to buy a buffalo to cater to more customers. She hopes to increase production capacity of milk which ultimately helps in generating more cash. She is in her sixth loan cycle and has shown good repayment behavior.
