A loan of $3,000 helped to buy more chickens for her farm, and chicken feed.

Laila's story

Laila is a conservative person who prefers not to have her photo published online. Therefore, her husband appears in the photo, which he posed for while he was there, working at the chicken farm.

Laila is a 46-year-old, married woman. She is the mother five young children. Her husband is a worker with a low wage; it is not enough to cover all the family expenses. Laila and her husband also have a chicken farm. The children help with the farm, after school. It is a profitable project, but it needs some improvements.

Laila took a USD loan from FATEN. This loan will help her to buy more chickens for her farm and chicken feed. This will improve her project, and the income from the farm will increase. Laila would like to take a bigger loan in the future, to improve this chicken farm even more.
