Avita is a 47-year-old married woman from Talibon, Bohol. She has two children ages 6 and 18 years old. She runs a 'sari-sari' (variety) store. She sells items like noodles, local vinegar, canned goods, biscuits, soaps, shampoo and condiments. She has been doing 'sari-sari' store business for more than five years.
To be able to maintain her store inventory, Avita requested a loan of 30,000 PHP to buy more stock like soft drinks, seasonings, beverages and toiletries. In the future, Avita would like to expand her 'sari-sari' into a mini-mart to have higher income and continue to send her children to school.
