A loan of $3,000 helped to buy gold jewelry to sell in hopes of increasing her business.

Musavara's story

Musavara is a young unmarried woman. She is 21 years old and she lives with her parents and two brothers in the Hamadoni region. Her father is retired, her mother is a homemaker and her elder brother is a migrant worker abroad. Musavara works to earn her own living. Despite her young age, she has her own business; for two years she has been selling gold jewelry. Her trading stall is located in the central market of her region. Musavara sells gold earrings in the national style, rings and necklaces. Her business is steady and brings her a good income, but she needs a loan to help her increase her business. With the money from her loan, she hopes to increase her assortment of gold jewelry to bring in more clients and to increase her turnover. Musavara plans to set aside part of her earnings for her wedding.
