Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The committee named “Mujeres Unidas” (United Women) was established in one of the neighborhoods in the city of Concepción. This neighborhood is located some distance away from the downtown area. In other words, it is in a rural area, but it is experiencing growth. All of the members of this group are capable women who want to help their community.

One of the members is Sra. Mercedes, who also serves as the president of the group. She is a dynamic and hardworking woman who manages a beauty salon. Mercedes also sells cleaning products and reloadable cards for mobile phones. She is a hardworking and determined individual who strives each day to get ahead because of her desire to grow.

Mercedes is requesting a loan so that she can restock her beauty salon with shampoo, rinses, dyes, nail polishes, and other supplies in order to continue providing good service to her customers. She also wants to see her community continue its growth and provide greater security for families.

In this group: Mercedes, Irma, Emilce, Casimira, Apolinaria, Manuela, Mirna, Andreza, Jorgelina, Maria, Gloria, Ana, Maria
