A loan of $2,925 helped a member to purchase four piglets and feed.

Daya Pertiwi Group's story

The needs of today's family life are very expensive. This forces everyone to work hard, to make ends meet. Dewa Ayu can not just rely on the income of her husband; she also has to work. Raising pigs is one solution for her.

Dewa Ayu got a part of this group loan, which she used to buy four piglets, at a price per piglet of 400,000 IDR, and to buy pig feed. Her husband and her two children help her to raise pigs. They and Dewa Ayu feed the pigs and clean their cage, every day. Because she takes care to maintain the cage and to feed the pigs with good hygiene, Dewa Ayu hopes her pigs will be healthy and thrive.

There are now three new members of Daya Pertiwi group, and three who were members at the time of the previous (8th) loan have left the group.
