A loan of $250 helped to buy ingredients to make snacks.

Heidy Damissela's story

Heidy, 26, lives with her husband and a son in her house in a community of San Lorenzo, in the south of Honduras.

Heidy has earned a living for four years selling snacks: tacos, enchiladas, fried yuca, hamburgers, chilaquiles, etc. Her customers are people who pass by her house, where her business is located. She sells her food from Monday through Sunday.

Heidy's requesting the loan to buy yuca, tortillas, cheese, meat, cabbage, plantains, onions, chili peppers, and other products to make different types of snacks. She plans to increase her sales with the support of this loan, and she hopes it leaves her profits to help with the household expenses.

Heidy's dream is to be able to improve her house.
