A loan of $825 helped to purchase sheep and goats to resell.

Haouwa Mamadou's story

Ms. Hawa is a good and honest woman, 48 years old, who has been selling animals for over five years. She is a married mother of four children, from 18 to 22 years old. At first, she used to sell milk curds to help with family expenses and schooling costs. Today, she needs a loan to purchase more animals to resell. Thus, she will be able to help her husband to manage day-to-day expenses and to augment her income, so as to improve her family's living conditions. She starts her day at 8 AM and finishes at 7 PM. For the future, she would like to start a livestock farm and to be sustainable in order not to have need of loans anymore.
