A loan of $7,575 helped to purchase solar panels and LED lamps to stock his inventory for large wholesale orders.

Carlos's story

This loan will help Carlos stock his inventory to allow him to fulfill large contract orders and grow his international renewable energy products retail business. Originally from Ecuador, Carlos moved to the United States in 2005, and he kept his ties to Latin America. Putting these connections to use, Carlos founded his own distribution enterprise in 2006, selling electrical equipment, generators, and solar panels to local customers in Florida as well as international clients throughout Latin America and China. His renewable energy generators are bio-fueled and run 100% from vegetable oil. Carlos also sells—both wholesale and to the public market—solar panels, batteries, controllers, chargers, and other electronic accessories. Carlos is looking to expand his inventory and his customer outreach. This loan will help Carlos buy solar panels and LED lamps in bulk so he can fulfill large international contract orders. He hopes to one day expand his business and have a large enough wholesale warehouse to sell to all of Latin America. His products are online at www.decablue.com.
