Niyazi's story

Niyazi is 48 years old .He is married and he has a one son. Niyazi is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with his family in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. He is a farmer and has raised seasonal fruits and vegetables for the last 14 years. During these years Niyazi gained enough skills and experience to run the business. He chose this crop business because it is profitable and fresh fruits and vegetables are in high demand. People use fresh vegetables every day and consider them healthy. Many national dishes are made of vegetables, like pilau and dolma. Fresh fruits are served at every table in an Azerbaijan family and also are used in fresh punch. Niyazi usually sells his crop in the central bazaar. His monthly income is 100 AZN.

As these products are in high demand, Niyazi wants to expand his business and produce more fruits and vegetables to cover market demand. For this purpose, he applied for 2000 AZN. He will buy new garden tools, seeds and fertilizers. This will be his fourth loan and he has a good client history.
