Elvis's story

This is Elvis. His previous loan was a big help for his business. He was able to buy all the needed products for his variety store. His income from his business helped him with sending his children to school and also with their everyday expenses. He and his wife are helping each other to provide for their everyday needs.

He would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP loan which he will utilize to buy groceries, toiletries, beverages and other products to add in his inventory. The more items displayed at the store the better. More items to sell will result in better profit. His profits from his business will definitely help him to sustain their daily needs. He looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in his heart.

Elvis dreams to be more successful in his business and hopes to give his children a good life and education. He meets up with his co-fellowship members to share stories of his work every week and to draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God that he studies.

All CCT community partners and clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
