A loan of $1,000 helped to buy fertilizers, manure, and pest controls, etc.

Anonymous's story

The client lives in his parents’ house with his wife and daughter. He is a farmer, and he has been growing beans, tomatoes, and ‘güisquil’ [a type of squash] for ten years. He sells his harvests at the markets that are close to where he lives. With the earnings that he gets from his sales he manages to pay for some of the household expenses. The client is requesting a loan to buy fertilizers, manure, and pest controls, etc. in order to continue with his planting and to be able to give his family a better quality of life.
