A loan of $900 helped to buy stock merchandise for her store.

Nancy's story

Nancy, 58, is a kind, hardworking married woman with five children she gave the best to for their education; now she lives alone with her husband in her own house.

Nancy works selling foodstuffs. She’s been in business about 7 years and has done very well. In the evenings she sells food on the sidewalk by her house although right now all her efforts are focused on expanding and enlarging her grocery store to earn income in the tranquility of home. She likes what she does very much because she considers providing service to the public her passion and she enjoys the personal interchange with her customers.

On this occasion she will request 2,500 soles. She’s very excited to know that there are people who provide economic back-up so she can continue developing her work activity. She also commits to make her payments punctually. She will use the requested amount to buy products like rice, sugar, oil, canned goods, milk, eggs, snacks and others.
