A loan of $550 helped to buy tins of solder.

Charles's story

Charles is 36 years old and is optimistic and hard-working. He is married with 2 children aged 9 and 13 who live with him in his own house. Charles does all kinds of work involving lathes and soldering in engines, vehicles and other things. He has a diverse clientele and a large portfolio of customers. His workshop is at his home and he has 3 people who help him with the work. He has been in business for around 14 years and the demands of his customers have always motivated him to do a good job and keep improving in the work he does. He works from 8 in the morning until 8 at night.

Charles really enjoys his job as he is able to work in something which has been a passion of his since he was very young. He feels increasingly secure and happy that he has put so much effort into his work because of the opportunities it gives him and the satisfaction he gets from it every day.

At present he is asking for a loan of 1500 soles and is therefore grateful to all the people who provide the loan he needs in order to meet his objectives. At the same time he is committed to paying his instalments punctually. He will use the sum of money to buy tins of solder, which are very expensive.
