Edjromahu Group's story

The group Edjromahu is made up of three people who live in the same neighborhood. Conforte (the one who has her hand raised in the photo) is the representative of the group. Conforte is 36 years old. Conforte did not go to school. Conforte is married to one Germain. The couple has four children, all in school and in their care. Besides these children, the couple has two other children in their care. Conforte lives together with her husband and these children. The household expenses are taken care of by the couple. To respond to the family's needs, Conforte has been selling bread and sardines, avocados, butter, milk, etc. for around twenty years. Conforte stocks up in a market in Benin. With the goal of strengthening her business, Conforte joined together with the other members of the group to ask for a loan from Alidé.
