Darren's story

This loan will allow Darren to offer delivery service for his home security system retail and installation business.

Darren noticed a lack of affordable quality home security systems available to residents in his local community in Lexington, North Carolina. Wanting to fill this niche, he began his own business Home Smart, LLC. in March 2012, selling and installing security systems made by Laser Shield. His home-based business has already grown significantly and he now hires five employees and plans to soon offer a delivery service to his clients. He now needs a loan to purchase additional inventory to keep up with the growing demand as well as to buy a work vehicle in order to make his business deliveries.

Darren has plans to soon move into an office space and expand his business to help other local communities.
