A loan of $750 helped to buy corn, firewood, lime powder, and colored woods used in making furniture.

Juana Antonia's story

Juana, age 40, lives with her husband at their house in the San Lorenzo community in the southern part of Honduras. She has been selling tortillas, bread, and wood for furniture for ten years.

Juana is an enterprising woman who wishes to get her daughters, who go to school, ahead. She is an example of work and dedication because, thanks to her business activities, she has been able to get her family ahead.

Juana is requesting 15,000 lempiras to buy corn, firewood, lime powder, and colored woods used in making furniture in order to resell it. With the support of this loan she plans to stock her business. This way she will have better earnings and improve her living conditions a little. Juana’s dream is to have a better house.
