A loan of $1,625 helped to buy three sewing machines.

Luz Dary's story

Luz, 37, is the mother of two children and separated. In light of the financial responsibility that rested on her after she broke up with her husband, she decided to look for a way to generate income on her own.

She took sewing classes and currently has a small workshop in her house where she makes clothing for other people, mends, and also makes crafts and does embroidery. She has done this work for approximately 10 years and with it she generates income to cover the basic household necessities and pay for her children's studies.

Luz is a hardworking and thriving woman who's dedicated to her children and strives for them every day.

Currently she's requesting the support of a second loan cycle to invest in buying three sewing machines (one serger and two flat machines) to facilitate her work.

She'll improve her working conditions and be able to increase her production and deliver her orders in a timely fashion, which will result in an increase in her income. This helps her to advance, expand her business, and in the future be able to realize her dream of having her own line of athletic clothing. Her economic stability will increase and she'll have the possibility of getting her own house and giving her children better living conditions and greater well-being.
