A loan of $3,000 helped to buy and transport autumn and winter clothes to resell.

Kristine's story

Kristine is 40 years old and she lives with her mother in Yerevan. She has a degree in pedagogy, and for several years she has worked at the school as an English language teacher, but over time she became engaged in a trading business, in which her mother helps her very much. From time to time she has some orders for translations; this provides an alternative source of income for her small family. She has her trading business occupation in a rented stall in Yerevan's wholesale market. She sells women's clothes, bags and shoes. She imports all these products from China and Turkey once a month.

Overall, Kristine is satisfied with the income of her business, but she needs money to purchase clothes for the upcoming new autumn/winter season. She is asking for a loan of 3,000 USD for that purchase. Her previous Kiva loan was of great use for her, and she hopes very much that this one will also be profitable.
