A loan of $700 helped to pay for various fruits and vegetables needed in her business.

Bella's story

This is Bella's eighth loan cycle. Aside from her fruits and vegetables, she also sells fish nets and drums. She also has a variety store. In the ups and downs of all her businesses, she remains standing and firm in her faith in God. Her husband is very supportive of her as he helps her run the business. She would like to apply for another 30,000 PHP loan for her to purchase more fruits and vegetables needed in her business. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and educational expenses of her child. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Bella dreams to have more customers and hopes that her child will finish his studies. She meets every week with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her life and business and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay back microfinance loans.
