Suyunduk's story

Suyunduk is 37 years old, married and has four children (two daughters and two sons). Her spouse works as a taxi driver in their village. She herself is a homemaker. However, lifestock is their main source of income. Since 2002, they have worked with animals, having started the business with 10,000 KGS. Suyunduk is hardworking and friendly. Today she has one dairy cow, two bulls and one horse. Her business brings in around 12,000 KGS a month from the sale of milk and, with the income from her husband, it covers most of the family's food costs. With the goal of further expanding their farming efforts, Suyunduk turned to the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 30,000 KGS to buy a bull. She plans to us the income from the loan to further invest in the farm and also, in the future, to provide her children with a worthy education.
