Tupee's story

Tupee is 42 years old and lives in Margibi county, which has the largest rubber-producing plantation in Liberia. She and her fiancee have four children who are in school and between the ages of five and fourteen. Her fiancee works with Firestone. Tupee completed ninth grade before starting her business seven years ago. She describes herself as hardworking woman. She received a little money from her fiancee to establish her business. She enjoys her business because she makes more profit and has more customers. She sells for ten hours, six days a week. She is requesting a loan to buy more red oil, rice, pepper, bitter ball and other goods to sell. Her plan is to increase her business even more.
