A loan of $1,175 helped to buy sardines, batteries, and biscuits.

Abass's story

This is 53-year-old Abass. He is married and has five children ages 24, 21, 19, 17 and 16. He has two additional dependents who live with him for schooling.

In 1997, Abass established his provisions and confectioneries business. He began his business for self-empowerment. His business is located at city centre and his main customers are both men and women. Working seven days a week and 14 hours a day, he earns about SLL 800,000 every month from this business.

Abass would like a loan in the amount of SLL 5,000,000. Abass has already received and successfully repaid three loans, and now requires a new loan in order to purchase sardines (1,500,000), batteries (700,000) and biscuits (500,000). He hopes that this loan shall provide him with more income for domestic use.

In the future, Abass plans to educate his children, to build a house and to rent a spacious shop. He thanks you for your support.
