A loan of $1,175 helped to pay for textiles.

Margarette's story

This is 34-year-old Margarette. She is married and has three children, aged five, six, and fifteen. She has one additional dependent, who lives with her to help with the house chores.

In 1995, Margarette established her textiles business. The business started to help her husband with the children's education. Her business is located in city center and her main customers are adults. Working seven days a week and ten hours a day, she earns about SLL 1,086,390 every month from this business.

Margarette would like a loan in the amount of SLL 5,000,000. She has already received and successfully repaid four loans and now requires a new loan in order to pay for additional lining material, cotton, and wax. She hopes that this loan can improve the business and increase her stock.

In the future, Margarette plans to expand the business to a kiosk in the central market and hopes to make more profit and take care of the needs of the children. She thanks you for your support.
