Moses's story

Moses is aged 27 years, single, and a resident of the Nateete a Kampala suburb. Moses went to school up to the secondary level, and in the midst of his education his parents ran bankrupt, so he decided to resort to business.

Moses commenced a business in 2009 on a busy street with an aim of generating daily income. Having seen a gap in his business of inadequate capital, he resorted to borrowing from Ugafode and is applying for a loan of ugx. 1,000,000 to buy more sugar cane from the villages to meet the demand of his customers, which he says is "very high." He normally serves passersby, clients and neighbors along a busy street, but even more so students from a nearby school.

Moses’ major challenges are inadequate capital, competition and seasonal changes in farming. He is hardworking and always focuses on his business in order to have increased profits. In set is Moses at his business.
