Sarorn is a farmer who grows rice as a main source of her family's income and also plants soybeans to earn extra income. She has been engaged in farming for one year and she is able to earn about 35,000 KHR per day to meet the family’s needs.

Sarorn has never been with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner). She is applying for a loan with VisionFund in the amount of 3,000,000 KHR to buy fertilizer and insecticide for her farmland and she will use some part of the loan to pay for labor fees. She hopes this loan can provide her with high crop yield and good income to make a better living.
