Luzmila's story

Luzmila was born in Paucartambo city and lives there with her family. She is 60 years old, a widow, but has six children. She is a hard-working and enterprising woman who supports her family with her work. She sells dried basic grains such as beans, wheat, barley, corn and others. She needs a loan in order to buy dried grains such as corn, wheat and others as she buys wholesale to later take to Cusco city and distribute them to resellers in different markets. She thanks those are part of this dream through their support of the loan and she promises to make her monthly payments responsibly. She belongs to the “San Martincito” Community Bank in the Arariwa Association in Paucartambo city.
