A loan of $350 helped to buy vegetables, chicken, coffee, rice, sugar, lard, beans, bread, water, etc. for her business.

Juana's story

Juana is 55 years old, single, and has one dependent son. She lives in the community of San Lorenzo in southern Honduras. She has her own home and for six years she has had a grocery business selling things like lard, beans, sugar, coffee, bread, water, soft drinks, churros, etc. Her customers prefer her for her friendliness and good customer service. Juana is a woman who has struggled on her own for a long time and, thanks to her efforts, she has been able to get ahead. She is a good example of honesty and work. Juana is asking for this loan to buy vegetables, chicken, coffee, rice, sugar, lard, beans, bread, water, etc. As her demand is high, she plans to use this loan to improve her profits and get her family ahead. Juana is very happy to still be working with PRISMA and she is thankful because the loans have helped her a lot with her business and her finances. Juana's dream is to improve her home.
