A loan of $200 helped to buy legumes, beans and peas wholesale.

Ayde's story

Ayde is an independent woman who is 33 years old. She lives with her husband in their own house. Her principal source of revenue comes from selling legumes, beans, peas etc., which gives her a constant weekly income. Before this she liked to plant food. She still does this but only for her own household consumption. As many people do this for a living, she didn't want to be just one more. So she started this new business with it's stable revenues. Now she wishes to buy a regular place in the marketplace to sell her product at a good price and one day become a wholesaler. "That is my goal, I hope to attain it with the help of my husband and family" she affirmed.

This is her second loan with Kiva and she is very thankful for the assistance she has received so she can get ahead. And she promises to pay her installments in a punctual manner. Ayde will invest the 500 PEN buying legumes, beans and peas.
