Alix Eugenia

A loan of $1,075 helped to buy merchandise (pastries, eggs, soda, cookies, dairy products) and make some improvements to the premises (fix a wet spot on the wall).

Alix Eugenia's story

Eugenia, 31 years old, has a 7-year-old son and lives with her boyfriend. During her working life she has worked in companies and houses doing various functions, which allowed her to make income to support the household. Three years ago she had the opportunity to work on her own, and with some savings that she had, she bought a grocery and home goods store, as the previous owner was going to live in another country. Since then she she has strived tirelessly to keep her business going and generate income to continue helping to support her household. Eugenia is a strong and hardworking woman who is dedicated to her family, which is her main motivation to continue seeking better opportunities. She is requesting a third loan to help her buy merchandise (pastries, eggs, soda, cookies, dairy products) and make some improvements to the premises (fix a wet spot on the wall). With this, she will be able to continue with her business, have a larger variety of products to offer her customers, and make more income, with which she will be able to grow her store and make it stable, well known in the area, and long lasting. This way she will be able to give her son a better education and well-being, and have economic stability in order to have a prosperous future with her family.
