Angelina's story

Angelina is 46 years old, married and a mother to seven children. This is a large but united family. Angelina did not complete primary school because she did not have the necessary financial support from her parents. Alongside her husband and children, she goes out to the country to look after and maintain her coffee crops, doing work such as fumigation, cleaning, putting down manure, harvesting and more. Angelina is a enterprising and, so, saw a need to help her husband. She decided to start a small grocery store in her home. With it she can help generate an income to cover basic necessities for the family. The land that Angelina works is her own. It is located just a few metres from their home and so they arrive there by foot.

Angelina needs to improve her crops, giving them more help and protecting them better, by using farming supplies that will make her product more attractive for her clients. To give the crops this protection, Angelina is applying for a loan from "COMIXMUL" to inject some capital into her business.

Angelina's dream is to have productive and attractive land and quality coffee. With this she can generate an income to support her family and household. Angelina dreams of extending her land and having something to leave for her children and grandchildren.
