Zapharan's story

Zapharan, 32, is a resident of Nansana, a suburb of Kampala. She is married with 3 children; all of them attend school. Zapharan sells general merchandise, a business that she started in 2010 on a busy street with the aim of improving on her daily income. Her major challenges in the business are inadequate capital and competition in the market.

Zapharan wants a loan of 1,500,000 UGX to buy more goods from the town to stock her business so that she can meet the growing demand of her customers, which is speculated to be high.

She normally serves the passersby and neighbors along the street, but she has business with various restaurants, too.

She is hardworking, determined and always focuses on her business in order to have a better business in future.
