Kona's story

Kona is 45 years old and lives in Margibi County, which has the largest producing rubber plantation in Liberia. She and her fiancee have four children who are in school and between 30 and 22 years old. Her husband works at Firestone. She completed 5th grade before starting her business eight years ago. She described herself as a hard working woman. She received a little money from her husband to establish her business. She enjoys her business because she makes more profit and has more customers. She sells for ten hours six days a week. She is requesting a loan to buy more red oil, rice, pepper, bitter-ball, etc for her business. Her plans is to increase her business even more.
