A loan of $2,950 helped to increase the assortment of her fall inventory.

Ludmila's story

Ludmila sells women's clothes -- skirts, knits, slacks and suits -- from a rented store space. She used her previous KIVA loan to expand her inventory and was able to increase her sales and make additional profit for her family.

This time, Ludmila is requesting a 24,000 UAH loan to increase the assortment of her fall inventories. She will purchase skirts, sweaters, and light coats in bulk at good prices now. Her loan will give Ludmila the opportunity to earn additional income and take better care of her three children. She is a widow and does the best she can to provide her children with everything they need, especially a good education.
