Rosetta's story

Rosetta, 31 years old, lives in the West Point area which has the busiest market in Montserrado County. She is married and has five children. She was unfortunate to have to end her education in the 8th grade. For the past year, she has been operating a shop which sells charcoal in the local market. She spends 10 hours a day at her business. She like her business because she has many customers and makes lots of profit. She started this business with money given to her by husband. Most of the time, she uses the bus to transport her goods to her shop. She is requesting a loan to purchase more charcoal for her business. She plans to build her own house and become an international businesswoman. She thanks the lenders who support BRAC Liberia.
