A loan of $2,550 helped to buy more calves.

Izzat's story

Izzat is 41 years old, married, and the father of 3 children. He is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with his family in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. He has been raising cattle during the past years. He says this is a very difficult job. Taking care of animals is a continuous effort, but his wife is helping him to raise the cattle, fatten them, and sell them in the market.

Izzat usually buys cattle, takes care of them by fattening them, and finally sells them in the market. His monthly income is 150 AZN. This financial income is the only source for the family. He plans to expand the business in order to bring more funds into the family. Selling meat is a very profitable business in Azerbaijan due its common use in everyday meals.

Izzat is applying for a loan of 2,000 AZN in order to buy more calves. This is going to be his fourth loan with Aqroinvest. He believes this loan will have a positive impact on the expansion of his business.
