Rasim's story

Rasim is a 25-year-old, married, young customer and father of one daughter. He is an IDP (internally displaced person) and lives with his family in the Bilasuvar IDP Settlement. Rasim is very kind, caring, and energetic in his work. Rasim raises cattle, fattening them and selling them for a profitable price. His wife is the major support for him in this business. Rasim sells meat at the central bazaar for a profit. In Azerbaijan, there is a high demand for meat because it is used in a lot of meals, such as kufta (soup), kebabs, and dolma. His income from this business is AZN 180 per month. In order to fully support the family, Rasim is looking forward to expanding the business and making it very successful. He has applied for his first loan of AZN 2,000 from Aqroinvest, to buy five calves. Rasim, at this very young age, and with a great passion and energy, plans to become a successful businessman in the town.
