Victalina's story

Victalina, 22, is a young woman with a lot of courage, desires, dreams and hopes to become better every day with God's blessing. She received a third grade education and is the mother of three children. She also lives with her mother who helps out with household activities in her absence. Victalina helps her partner sell basic grains such as corn, beans, rice and coffee. For three years she has been in this business, and the land she cultivates is her own. It is located ten kilometers from home and she travels there by bus.

Victalina is requesting a loan through COMIXMUL to buy supplies such as fertilizer, leaf treatment, urea, coffee formula, etc. to care for and maintain her coffee crop.

Her plans are to expand her coffee plantation to increase her income for the development of her family and business, and to prepare her children for the university. She wants them to take advantage of their studies so that in the future the doors will be open to them to find a good job or go into business.
