Edwin Alexis's story

Edwin is 31 years old and married. He has three children and lives in the municipality of Yoro, in Yoro. He previously did bricklaying work and learned carpentry in a workshop. Thirteen years ago he was able to establish his own carpentry workshop where he does woodcarving and makes doors, windows, and all types of furniture. By doing this work he manages to cover the household expenses. The loan he has requested is his fifth loan cycle with ODEF and it is for an amount of 25,000 HNL. He will use it to buy raw material, such as wood, paint, and sandpaper so he can make items of furniture, such as china cupboards, kitchen furniture, beds, and chests of drawers. His goal is to make his business stand out from other businesses and to be able to help his family to have a better quality of life.
