A loan of $2,400 helped to buy forage for feeding the livestock as well as seeds for cultivation.

Qnarik's story

Qnarik has a small and beautiful farm that she takes care of with love and care. She has two bulls, 4 cows, 8 heifers, 4 pigs, and 2 chickens. She also cultivates barley and potatoes and grows pear- and appletrees. Qnarik's two sons are now serving in the army and her husband helps her very much with the farming activities. They live in a small nice village, Hoghmik, in the Shirak region.

Qnarik completed higher education and has been working at a local school as a teacher for many years. Unfortunately, a teacher's salary is hardly enough for making ends meet, so for improving her farm and covering its costs, Qnarik has requested this loan. With the loan's help she will purchase forage for feeding the livestock and seeds for cultivation.

Qnarik and her family hope very much that Kiva lenders will give her an opportunity to enrich both her farm and her family income.
