A loan of $1,275 helped to buy four young bulls and calves for fattening and resale.

Lailo's story

Lailo, age 24, is a young woman who is still single and who lives with her mother, her two sisters and her younger brother in the Shahrituz region of Tajikistan. Lailo's family owns 0.15 hectare of land and also uses 0.3 hectare of "presidential" land for the cultivation of crops. Lailo and her sisters help their mother with the farm work: from planting to harvesting.

Lailo is a very hardworking and energetic young woman who would like to start her own business. She is thinking of buying and selling livestock, as she has all the conditions required to run such a business: there is a small barn in the house's courtyard to keep some livestock, and she could use a portion of the family's farming production to feed her livestock.

Lailo's starting capital amounts to 500 USD. She is requesting a loan as additional capital, to buy four young bulls and start her own business.

Lailo says that her mother will help her run this business. She is relying on your support.
