A loan of $3,800 helped a member to buy two bales of second hand clothing.

Tupatane Group's story

Ngulu is the treasurer of the Tupatane business group. A young experienced entrepreneur, Ngulu is 30 years old, married, and a mother of two children, who both go to school. Her husband is a teacher in a public school.

Ngulu sells second-hand clothing. She displays her goods in a market, and sometimes at home. She started her business with a loan from the micro-finance institution Hekima about two years ago. This new loan will serve to buy two bales of second-hand clothing.

Ngulu wishes to increase her business, educate and feed her children, and build a house.

To finish up, Ngulu strongly thanks Hekima for their lending support to small-scale entrepreneurs.
